Actors Dean Cain, Seamus Dever and Boris Kodjoe Attempt to Defeat “The Beast” and Win Money For Charity in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge
October 7, 2014, SANTA MONICA, Calif. – GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today its Emmy®-nominated original series THE CHASE will return with five new episodes beginning Tuesday, November 11 at 8:00pm ET/PT.  The second part of THE CHASE’s third season kicks off with a special celebrity edition, featuring actors Dean Cain (“Hit The Floor”), Seamus Dever (“Castle”) and Boris Kodjoe (“Real Husbands of Hollywood,” “Addicted”). 
Each of the actors will be playing for the charity of his choice.  In honor of Veteran’s Day, Dean Cain will participate on behalf of the Gary Sinise Foundation, which raises money and supports programs that honor US military men and women.  Dever will play for the Beagle Freedom Project, which rescues beagles from animal experimentation research labs.  Kodjoe will play for Sophie’s Voice Foundation, the charity he established with his wife after their daughter, Sophie, was born with spina bifida.  Kodjoe’s foundation supports global health and wellness initiatives in multicultural communities, including the prevention of neural tube birth defects through folic acid fortification and supplementation, as well as broadening access to medical care and supplies to families in developing countries.
THE CHASE, hosted by Brooke Burns, features the brilliant and intimidating Mark Labbett (aka “The Beast”) who faces down contestants in the ultimate trivia challenge. One of GSN’s most popular original series, THE CHASE has attracted more than 18 million total viewers since its premiere in August 2013.  Throughout its season three run,  the series has posted impressive ratings growth among P18-49 (+52%), P25-54 (+56%), W25-54 (+36%), W18-49 (+30%), with total viewership up 37%, versus GSN’s year-to-date time period average.
Based on the highly successful UK format, THE CHASE is produced by ITV Studios America. Bob Boden, Michael Kelpie and Martin Scott are executive producers.
