“The people at Game Show Network called with this funny idea, to call an episode of AMERICA SAYS, like it’s a sporting event. It was a blast,” said Waltz. “Two big reasons I said yes; Game Show Network told me I could call the game in my pajamas, and I’m a huge fan of John Michael Higgins’ work in movies like ‘Best In Show’ and ‘A Mighty Wind.’”

AMERICA SAYS, hosted by John Michael Higgins, is a fast-paced studio game show where two teams of friends and family face off to guess America’s responses to fill-in-the-blank survey questions covering every topic under the sun. They’ll have to be quick when trying to think of what America says, as time is always ticking and the team with the most money banked after three rounds will head to a bonus round to see if they can win up to $15,000.

Rich Waltz is a three-time-Emmy®-winning television play-by-play commentator. Currently he calls College Football and Basketball for CBS Sports Network, CBS Sports, and MLB for MLB Network. Perhaps best known for calling the Miami Marlins from 2005-2017, he also called MLB games on FOX Sports, ESPN, ESPN Radio and MLB Network. His College Football and Basketball work also includes ESPN, Fox Sports, FS1, Raycom, and the Pac-12 Network among others. Waltz is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where he played college baseball.
